n endoscopic lift or forehead lift is the medical name for an improved plastic surgical technique that provides facial rejuvenation with minimal scars. Endoscopy is a type of surgical technique that may prevent the need for long incisions, which allows faster healing, and results in fewer side effects than traditional techniques.

Traditionally to perform a brow and facelift, the surgeon needed to make an incision from ear to ear on top of the head and incisions around the ear to the posterior neck. The endoscopic technique allows for minimal scars. Using a slender, wand-like tube with a microscopic camera attached, Dr. Hartog can lift and tuck specific areas of the face through a few very small incisions along the hairline, on the back of the ear, and under the chin. This technique not only requires less time for recovery; it results in a more natural individualized look without the telltale signs of standard facelift procedures.
